Interior meets art. Artist, fashion designer, and couturier Mart Visser gives, as a special guest at Contempera, a unique insight into his world of art and fashion.

The exhibition Sculptures was on display until August 10, 2025, at Kunsthuis Amsterdam. Using weathered wood, metal, stone, and bronze, his intuitive sculptures, in dialogue with paintings and installations, present a layered exploration of the human face.

On March 6, 2025, Mart Visser and AtKris Studio invited a select group for an exclusive event where his latest artworks and unique vintage finds came together, including a glimpse into the nearby painting studio.

On July 22, 2024, the Two-Bedroom Garden Suite at the Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam was unveiled, enriched with unique artworks by Mart Visser. This collaboration marked a special integration of fashion and visual art in a luxurious setting.

In 2024, Mart Visser presented his latest works in the solo exhibition THE RESET at the Vrije Academie in Amsterdam. From September 6 to October 27, 2024, approximately 65 paintings and sculptures were displayed in the historic building on Herengracht. This exhibition offered an intimate look at Visser's artistic development, with his signature focus on the human face in abstract forms.

Museum Beelden aan Zee presented a retrospective of Dutch couturier, designer, and visual artist Mart Visser. The dynamic exhibition Sculptures showcased a selection of over one hundred sculptures and eighty reliefs, paintings, and installations, featuring a diversity of abstract heads and faces.

In 2022, Mart Visser collaborated with artist Marcel Wolterink on a joint presentation of their work. Wolterink, known for his expressive and often humorous sculptures, brought a playful dynamic to the exhibition.

In 2017, Mart Visser presented the exhibition Beyond Context on the occasion of his 25th anniversary as a couturier and artist. This exhibition was held in the temporary museum The Artesia on Herengracht in Amsterdam.

The exhibition offered a unique combination of Visser’s three disciplines: haute couture, prêt-à-porter, and visual art.

In the fall of 2016, Mart Visser presented his exhibition S.Y.N.E.R.G.Y at Museum aan het Vrijthof in Maastricht. This exhibition marked his first solo exhibition in Limburg and combined his visual art with highlights from his haute couture collections.

The exhibition RAW & REFINED by Mart Visser in the Kalvertoren in Amsterdam took place on February 20–21, 2016. The exhibition offered a unique opportunity to experience Visser’s autonomous artworks in a public space, enhancing accessibility and interaction with the audience.

In the fall of 2014, Mart Visser presented his autonomous work at Museum Jan van der Togt in Amstelveen. The exhibition Artwork offered an intimate exploration of human expression, focusing on the face in all its forms. Visser, who has been drawing heads since childhood, drew inspiration from encounters and intuition.
